A1 deploys MAM e-commerce solutions at warehouse

A1 Motor Stores simplifies warehouse order processing with MAM's Autonet e-commerce solutions

A1 Motor Stores has implemented MAM Software's Autonet business-to-business (B2B) electronic ordering solutions at its A12U distribution centre to provide a more efficient ordering process for its members. The warehouse has deployed MAM's 'Autonet Online' web portal and 'Autonet Autopart Seller' connectivity solutions to provide browser-based and application-based ordering.
A1 Motor Stores is a buying & marketing group with over 270 independent stores nationwide. Its A12U distribution centre is a members-only service providing access to over 2150 product lines from a 13,000 sq ft warehouse in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
By implementing MAM's Autonet solutions, A1 members can check availability at the A12U warehouse, confirm pricing and place orders from within their management software or a web browser.
A1 members that run MAM's Autopart application can use the 'Autonet Autopart Seller' solution to access the information within their own purchase ordering screens. All other members can use the 'Autonet Online' web portal through a standard web browser.
Both Autonet solutions provide real-time connectivity to A1's own Autopart stock management system. All orders raised by A1 members are instantly acknowledged and arrive immediately at the A12U distribution centre for processing.
