MAM Software announces Autocat+ v4.0

MAM Software launches Autocat+ v4.0, the next major release of its popular electronic parts catalogue.

MAM Software today launched Autocat+ v4.0, the next major release of its popular electronic parts cataloguing software for motor factors, accessory retailers and parts distributors. This major release introduces a number of significant enhancements to the application and further extends its functionality.

Increased screen size

This latest version of Autocat+ is designed to run at a larger screen resolution of 1024px by 768px. This enables the software to display more information on the screen at any one time and has removed the need for scroll bars on some of the controls. As a result, the main parts grid now displays new fields including fuel type, body type, engine capacity, cylinders, cam, valve and transmission.

Improved data filtering

The introduction of new data columns gives users more fields on which to filter data. Combined with new progressive searching routines, Autocat+ v4 helps users to quickly and easily drill down data to find a match. With more information to search on, parts lookups are more accurate, increasing the likelihood of achieving 'first-time-fit'. 

Counter messaging

Autocat+ v4 introduces a new messaging system that enables short text messages to be displayed on every screen within an organisation. Managed from a central location, these messages scroll across the top of every Autocat+ screen, relaying important product, promotional or company information to employees.

Additional enhancements

The latest edition of Autocat+ benefits from a number of interface and operational enhancements including: Multiple images; automated software updates; customisable vehicle set-up; Gates' technical information; and enhanced VRM recording.

Hence, we're currently working with all our data suppliers to increase both the scope and accuracy of the information we can make available through Autocat+."

Free trial

To promote the launch of Autocat+ v4.0, MAM is now offering a free trial version of the application to motor factors, accessory retailers and parts distributors (terms and conditions apply). Existing Autocat+ subscribers will automatically receive a free upgrade of their software and can check their current version by referring to the title bar of the application.
