MAM Software today announced the release of Automate, a suite of tools that helps component suppliers significantly improve the quality of their product data and become self-sufficient in publishing information to MAM's Autocat+ parts catalogue.
Incorporating MAM's unique UK specific Makes and Models Index (MMI), Automate enables suppliers to develop a consistent data structure that improves catalogue matching and increases customer confidence. Automate can verify a supplier's data, produce reject reports and help them perform gap analysis. It also highlights new UK vehicle models and facilitates the conversion of data from European sources.
Automate comprises:
- Automate application
Imports, verifies and publishes catalogue data to Autocat+ - MAM Makes and Models Index (MMI)
A comprehensive, accurate database of UK-specific vehicles - Catalogue Data Tool (CDT)
Perform real-time amendments to data that appears in Autocat+
"With over ten thousand users nationwide, Autocat+ is the UK's leading all-makes parts catalogue. Automate helps suppliers ensure that the data they contribute is precise and up-to-date" explained Mike Jamieson, CEO at MAM Software."Automate includes our comprehensive UK Makes and Models Index. Matching data to the MAM MMI means reduced catalogue errors, fewer returns and increased customer confidence – which all help increase sales."
"Automate allows suppliers to become self-sufficient in publishing their product information to Autocat+. They can import, enhance and verify their data before publishing bulk updates every day. The Catalogue Data Tool even allows suppliers to perform individual amendments in real-time. This eliminates data latency issues and means customers will no longer have to wait to get access to the latest product information."
