Autopart 'obvious choice' for industry stalwart
When Cannons MSA decided to replace its aging I.T. infrastructure, the company's immediate reaction was to turn to MAM Software.

Established in 1907, Cannons MSA Ltd is one of the longest established distributors in the UK. A privately-owned company, Cannons takes great pride in its traditional business values, providing customers with top quality products, excellent prices and first-class service.
After almost twenty years of use, Cannons recently decided to replace its aging I.T. system. "Using our old Confact system is like driving an old car. It does a job, but there are quicker, more comfortable and more efficient ways to travel" explained Director Paul Cannon. "We decided that the time was right to 'trade up' for a newer model and bring ourselves up-to-date."
In choosing a new I.T. partner, Paul Cannon was keen to select a company that supported Cannon's philosophy of quality and service. "MAM was the obvious choice" he explained. Autopart is a reliable system, packed with functionality and backed by a support department that is second-to-none."
In July 2009, Cannons placed an order with MAM Software for a nine-user Autopart system that will include point-of-sale, back-office management and ledger accounting.
One of the areas Cannons is looking to improve with the installation of Autopart is stock control. "Our aim is to supply the right product, at the right time, and at the right price" Paul Cannon explained. "We can supply anything from a filter to a four-post lift. Our stock of over 40,000 items is carefully selected and monitored for quality and suitability. With many of these items being sourced and supplied on a just-in-time basis, Autopart's purchasing and stock control features will be invaluable."
