MAM Software today announced that European Exhaust & Catalyst (EEC) is to use the MAM Automate suite to manage and publish its UK catalogue data. The company will use Automate to standardise information across its UK range, identify gaps in its coverage and contribute accurate data to MAM's Autocat+ parts catalogue.
European Exhaust & Catalyst is a leading UK manufacturer of aftermarket catalytic converters, covering over 4,300 vehicle applications. In addition to its main product line, EEC also supplies a comprehensive range of front pipes, lambda sensors, exhausts, diesel particulate filters and brake pads.
EEC will use Automate's UK specific Makes and Models Index (MMI) to standardise data across its entire product range. The solution will help the company keep abreast of new UK vehicle models and identify gaps in its product range. Automate will also enable EEC to become self-sufficient in publishing product information to MAM's Autocat+ parts catalogue on a daily basis.
"Automate is a powerful tool that will help us manage and promote our product range to the UK automotive aftermarket" said Paul Clark, Managing Director at European Exhaust & Catalyst. "Our extensive range of cats, exhausts, pipes, sensors, DPFs and brakes covers over 14,000 vehicle applications and it is vital that our customers have access to accurate, up-to-date product and fitment data."
"Automate's dedicated Makes and Models Index will enable us to reference our whole product range to the UK vehicle parc. This process will not only improve the accuracy of our data, but also help us to identify gaps in our coverage and develop products for new vehicles."
"With over ten thousand users, MAM's Autocat+ catalogue provides a significant route to market and it's crucial that we present up-to-date information on our entire product range. Automate will allow us to maintain and publish our own data - we can upload new additions as soon as they become live, and make our own corrections and amendments."
"Companies like EEC are recognising the value of good quality catalogue data" said MAM Software's Ian Penny. "Accurate data means less catalogue errors and fewer returns for factors and garages. This increases customer confidence, which results in increased sales. We are pleased that Automate will play a significant role in helping EEC enhance its offering and improve its customer service."
