MAM Software Ltd has today announced that FPS, the warehouse distributor, will link directly into MAM's new Autonet electronic trading solution.

Launched this week in response to feedback from customers and key industry players, Autonet is a simple solution that allows MAM system users to easily take up electronic trading.

Commented Mike Jamieson, Managing Director of MAM, "there are a number of electronic trading solutions becoming available, and we wanted to simplify the choices for our customers by offering a unified solution as an extension to their existing systems. An important part of this is offering a link with FPS, who are a supplier to the great majority of our customer base".

Neil Davis, Finance Director of FPS commented , "We are keen to offer our customers the ability to trade electronically with us. Autonet will give them instant access to stock availability and pricing information and the ability to order on line. As a major supplier of systems to our customer base we are very excited to be able offer such a direct link to MAM users".

Development work for the direct link has already commenced and it is currently scheduled for an Autumn release.
