Fuel Parts UK to evolve catalogue data with MAM

Fuel Parts catalogue evolution

Fuel and emissions components supplier to use MAM Software's Automate suite to publish data directly to Autocat+

PrintPrintable version 12 July 2011

MAM Software today announced that Fuel Parts UK (FPUK) is to use MAM's Automate suite to publish its catalogue data directly to MAM's Autocat+ parts catalogue. Automate will enable FPUK to increase the frequency of product updates and perform instant data amendments.

Fuel Parts UK is a leading supplier of fuel and emissions components. The company provides a wide variety of products including fuel injection, engine management and catalytic converters. FPUK employs an aggressive development programme, which results in new parts and references being added on a regular basis.

Fuel Parts UK will use Automate to help its customers achieve 'right part, first time' by reducing the latency of the data that is included in Autocat+. Automate will enable FPUK to publish product updates more frequently and perform data amendments in real time.

"Automate is the next stage of our catalogue evolution" said Neil Morgan, Operations Director at Fuel Parts UK Ltd. "It will help our MAM equipped customers access our information more efficiently from within Autocat+."

"Fuel Parts have spent many years developing a very accurate and up-to-date online catalogue, which is currently supported by individual hard-copy catalogues. However, MAM's Autocat+ catalogue is widely used throughout the industry and with this in mind, the decision was taken to streamline the integration of our catalogue information. Automate will enable us to mirror our online data to Autocat+, providing users with an alternative means of accessing the latest information."

"An increasing number of companies are recognising the importance of reducing data latency and accelerating the publication of data" said MAM Software's Ian Penny. "Keeping product data up-to-date reduces catalogue errors and helps achieve first time fit. We are pleased that Automate will play a significant role in helping Fuel Parts support its 'right first time' attitude."
