17 July 2009 - for immediate release
Midland Vehicle Components (MVC), a thriving motor factors based in Coventry, is reaping the benefits following the installation of MAM's Autopart software in June 2009. Despite being only just over a month old, MVC's new business management system is already improving productivity.
"We've achieved more in the last four weeks than we did in the previous five months" MVC Managing Director Simon Haynes explained. "And there's more to come."
"Autopart is very simple to use and the Autocat+ catalogue is far superior to anything we've used before. With its web-driven database, the data is much more up-to-date" he continued.
"I'm very impressed with Autopart's special fields feature. We import suppliers' Pareto rankings and use them to analyse our stock usage and redefine requirements. Using Autopart's reports I'm able to easily compare our own Pareto rankings with those of suppliers and undertake gap analysis. This helps ensure we're stocking the right products at both branches."
"Autopart has tremendous potential for us" Simon Haynes concluded. "My objective is to automate many of the menial tasks we currently undertake. Returns to suppliers, booking goods in and out, and automatic min/max recalculation are just some of the areas in which Autopart can help us improve efficiency over the coming months".
