Mike Jamieson – Managing Director

Mike Jamieson is MAM Software’s Managing Director. Mr Jamieson has been with the company since 1990 when he joined the installation and configuration department. Mr Jamieson held a number of positions within MAM’s implementation and support departments until his appointment as Department Manager for Workshop and Bodyshop Systems in 1995. Mr Jamieson was promoted to the position of Associate Director of Workshop and Bodyshop Systems in 2002 before taking his current role as Managing Director in 2004.

Lee Broad - Director - Technical Development

Lee Broad is MAM Software's Director of Technical Development. Mr Broad has over 19 years experience of developing systems for the automotive aftermarket. Mr Broad joined MAM in 1992 as a PICK programmer, working on MAMs original Trader system. In the years since, he has played a pivotal role in the development of MAMs Autopart, Autocat and VRM Lookup applications. Mr Broad held a variety of senior development / management positions before being promoted to Director of Technical Development in 2004.

Brian Allibon - Director - Systems Implementation

Brian Allibon is MAM Software Ltd's Director of Implementation Services and has been with MAM since 1988 working at times in Europe, Egypt and the USA. Mr Allibon spent several years prior to joining MAM as the Computer Manager for GKN at their Distribution Centre in Weedon, Northants and prior to that worked for both the Anglian Water Authority and Northampton College of Further Education in Senior positions.

Nigel Clemett - Director - Sales

Nigel Clemett is MAM Software's Director of Sales and has been with the company since 1995 when he joined as Customer Service Manager. Prior to this Mr. Clemett worked for five years as the IT Manager for Engine Express Components Ltd; an engine parts distribution company with ten sites that operated MAM Software's Trader system, and before this he held several positions within GKN Autoparts including Customer Service Supervisor, Inventory Controller and Chief Buyer. Mr. Clemett graduated from North Staffordshire Polytechnic in 1986 with a degree in Business Studies.

Robin Darnell - Director - Support Services

Robin Darnell is MAM Software's Director of Support Services. Mr Darnell joined MAM in 1990 as system engineer before moving into technical support, dealing with the original MAM Trader system running on PICK. Between 1994 and 1999, Mr Darnell held a number of senior positions within the support department before becoming Technical Support Manager for Autopart and Trader products in 2000. Mr Darnell became Associate Director Support Services in 2001 and assumed responsibility for the software and engineering departments of Autopart and Trader products. Mr Darnell was promoted to the position of Director Support Services in 2004 where he retains responsibility for software and engineering support across all MAM products.

Ian Penny - National Sales Manager

Ian Penny is Head of Business Development for MAM having joined the company in 2000. Previously Mr Penny served in a senior management position with Activant who he first joined back in 1983. He began his management career with Business Computer Systems where he became Regional Sales Manager. Mr Penny has an honours degree in Economics.

David Appleyard - Director - Finance and Operations

David Appleyard joined MAM in February 2004 as Financial Director. Mr Appleyard was previously a Management Accountant for a medium sized engineering company with a US parent and joined MAM after working as the Company Accountant for a subsidiary of a publicly quoted construction company. Mr Appleyard trained for five years with Wm Morrison's Supermarkets plc, passed final examinations in 1998; and attained ACMA status in 1999. Mr Appleyard is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
